ANIMALS

 Africa is the world's second-largest and second most-populated continent. At more than 30,250,000 km2 it covers around 6% of the worlds total surface with more than 900 million people - 14% of the world's human population.

With habitats ranging from desert to rainforest, mountains to savannah, it is a diverse continent which boasts animals that are the tallest—giraffes; largest—elephants and fastest—cheetah. Famous for it’s wealth wild animal populations. large carnivores (lions, yellow mongoose and cheetah) herbivores (giraffes, rhinos) range freely on open plains. It is also home to a variety of jungle creatures (mandrills, hippos) and aquatic animals (penguins.)
