White Fronted Lemur
Elemur fulvus albifrons
There are 6 sub-species of Brown Lemur, each with a distinct head pattern. In this sub-species only the males have a white collar around the face.
It lives in primary forest and eats a diet of fruit, mature leaves (up to 39 species), flowers, bark, sap and insects.
They usually have 1 or 2 young in April here - October in Madagascar. They spend 95% of their time high in the trees and only 2% on the ground. It is an endangered species.
